This is a Apple Script that was saved as an application. The reason I
made this script is because I miss my desktop printer on my old Power
Mac. Now, that I¹m using the new iMac with an Epson 740 printer I don¹t
have a Desktop Printer because Epson does not support the Desktop
Printer on the Apple iMac
I¹m releasing this application as a sharewere. The sharewere fee is only
$5.00. Try it use it for one month if you like it pay the sharewere fee
if you don¹t like it just trash it. A little price to pay for a good

What does Drop and Print do?
Drop and Print does what any Desktop Printer does. It sends an apple
event to the Finder to print the document that was drop onto the icon.
Opens the appropriate application and prints it.
What do I need to run Drop and Print?
Well, you have to have the AppleScript Extension Enabled and have the
Apple Script Application.

PowerSPrint is a pair of AppleScript applications used to share an otherwise
³unsharable² printer on an AppleTalk (EtherTalk, LocalTalk) network. They
may be used ³out-of-the-box² or opened and modified as wished.

How it Works
A client prints as if the printer were connected to one of its ports.
Instead of the Monitor application being launched, the PowerSPrint Client
application will be launched instead. It will transfer the file to the
server and remove it from your Spool folder. Once on the client machine, the
file will be printed to the printer.

in the spool folder, further setup of the client was not possible.

Attached is version 1.5.8 of Printer Defaults. It adds compatibility with
LaserWriter 8.6.x which has a larger set of internal options than
previous versions. These options did not all fit in the modification
dialog.
1.5.8 replaces all previous versions and should be placed in the
info-mac/prn directory. It may be freely distributed and included on
Info-Mac CD-ROMs.

PrintUseMonitor monitors the pages printed on Quickdraw printers,
including all the StyleWriter series and LaserWriter 300 printer,
and displays a warning dialog when the print cartridge is about
to run out.
PrintUseMonitor displays a progress bar indicating the Print Cartridge
wear, supports many different languages, and will even predict the
date when your printer cartridge will run out, based on average use.
If you refill ink cartridges then this application is useful for
determining when to do this, or if you always replace your ink cartridge,
this application can help you to determine when to order a new cartridge.

Save A Tree by Michael S. Engber is a free text file printing utility
designed to conserve paper by printing on 1 page what would normally use 2
or 4 pages.
Since Save A Tree only handles "TEXT" files, the author expected its
primary audience to be programmers printing source code. The word wrap
option makes it useful for general text printing too. Copies of the source
(THINK C) may [could??] be obtained for $20 and a disk w/SASE.
I regularly print mailing lists and newsgroup messages (saved and appended
to a file with MT-NewsWatcher) with Save A Tree. "MailConverter" can strip
off redundant headers from newsgroup messages making the file considerably
smaller.
I've noticed that sometimes when there is no printer selected in the
Chooser, Save A Tree doesn't issue any error message -- selecting a printer
has cured this for me. I guess Save A Tree stores its preferences inside
the application which rarely requires one to reinstall a fresh copy of Save
A Tree if its prefs get corrupted.
I hope you like it -- it has saved me tons of paper, ink and time.

sets).
Benefits
stEPS uses PostScript Level 2 features to avoid file size increase, make
page layout tasks more efficient and improve network and RIP performance.
stEPS was developed as a solution for those who involved in
packaging/labeling production as well as individuals printing personal
business cards and postal labels.
How it works
stEPS works with images in EPS format. Source EPS file could be created in
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe PhotoShop or any other application that supports
export in this format. stEPS creates another EPS file that contains all
source file data and additional PostScript code with step and repeat
functionality. Exported from stEPS EPS file (with image repeated any number
times) doesn't have significant file size increase over original EPS file.
Resulting EPS file could be downloaded directly to PostScript RIP or placed
into any page layout application, just like regular EPS file.
Hardware and software requirements
¥ Macintosh with PowerPC processor
¥ 16MB physical RAM
¥ MacOS 7.5 or higher
¥ PostScript Level 2 software RIP or PostScript printer
Demo limitations
Until you register, stEPS works in Demo mode. The difference from registered
version is that all images in exported step and repeat set are crossed by
thin black lines making it useless for real production purposes. Demo mode
allows you to test stEPS output with your PostScript devices.
