Easy-to-use Tool Gives Access to Images Locked in EPS and PostScript Files:
GoodBuddy Software releases Image Extractor 3.0
Effingham, Illinois, USA -- 10 Jan 2000 -- GoodBuddy Software today announced the release of version 3.0 of Image Extractor, an easy-to-use tool empowering users to access images embedded in EPS and PostScript files.
What is Image Extractor?
Image Extractor pulls vector and raster images out of EPS and PostScript file, saving them to disk. The user may then edit the graphic(s) -- something they could not do before.
Desktop publishers and imaging service bureaus can use Image Extractor to save time when a customer has sent them an incorrect embedded image. Before Image Extractor, the customer had to be contacted to send a corrected or editable file. Image Extractor puts the file immediately on the operator's machine for editing.
Image Extractor is US$39 shareware. It is available from the GoodBuddy Software web site and all major Macintosh shareware ftp sites.
System Requirements: Any Apple Power Macintosh or other PPC computer running MacOS System 7.6.1 or later.
Features
* Accept any EPS or PostScript file as input.
* List all images contained within source files.
* Saves any selected image(s) to disk for full editing capability.
Availability
Image Extractor is available now, and may be downloaded through our Web site at
